This article elaborates on how black holes were created and where they came from.  It begins by explaining how NASA's Hubble Space Telescope first discovered the black hole.  They say that the black  hole was once the core of a now disintegrated dwarf galaxy.  To understand the size of a black whole, they weigh billions of times more than the mass of our sun.  When galaxies collide with each other, black holes are created.

I can conclude that there is much more to black holes than what people know.  They are huge masses and what occurs inside them is unknown or not proven.  I want to know if there is anymore information that can help me understand black holes in their entirety.

Reflection question:  What makes up a black hole?

  1. From my own knowledge of black hole they are the center of a galaxy. They are what the stars orbit.

  3. To touch on your definition of black holes, they are actually huge masses of gravity and some don't weigh billions of times the mass of our sun. I also agree with what that person said about them being at the center of galaxies.
